Taking Registrations

We've designed CourseStorm to make class registration impossibly simple. The easier it is to register, the more people will actually take the time to do it.

Online Registration Process

Once you've launched your catalog site using CourseStorm, your classes instantly become available for online registration.  All you need to do is direct students to your catalog site (e.g., [your-organization].coursestorm.com). From here, they'll be able to register and pay for any classes they like.

When a student without a CourseStorm account clicks the "register" button on the class page, they will be prompted to enter their email address, then their other personal information.

They are then asked any custom questions set to appear with that class. You can find out more about custom registration questions here.

Finally, they are prompted to enter their payment information so they can complete registration for the class.

They will be shown a confirmation page on CourseStorm and then sent an email confirmation of their registration.

Email Confirmations

An email confirmation will contain all the details of the class, including the time and location! This email can be used as a receipt for the class.

The confirmation email will also be sent to the site admin and can be sent to the class instructor. This makes it easy to know when new registrations are coming in and easy to keep records of registrations. Which admins receive these notification emails can be controlled from the Users page in the CourseStorm admin area.
