Overdue Payments

To make life easier for our customers and their students, we've introduced a way to break up the cost of more expensive classes into more manageable chunks that we call Payment Plans.

For any of your classes costing more than $100, you can allow your students to pay over time if they choose and have those payments deducted automatically from their credit or debit card.

In the event that a customer's credit card cannot be charged for their automated installment, we automatically notify them by email to let them know about the issue and provide a way for them to update their payment information right on the web.

In rare cases, customer's may miss these emails or forget to follow up.  If, after a week, the customer still hasn't updated their payment info, their registration is considered overdue.  Thankfully, CourseStorm will automatically notify you when this happens so that you can contact the customer and resolve the issue either by reminding them to update their payment information, or, if necessary, canceling their registration altogether. Overdue payment plan notifications will be sent to any admin users who have opted-in to payout notifications on your Users page.

You can also view the Overdue Payment Plans Report at any time under Registration > More > Overdue Payment Plans in your admin area.

Meanwhile, students can then log into their account on CourseStorm, navigate to Registrations, and update their card for any failed payments.
