Price-Adjusting Options

Now that we’ve set up our kayak question, let’s try updating it so that by selecting one option over another adjusts the price.  In our kayak example, let’s say that the tandem kayak is a tad more expensive and selecting it will add $5 to the registration.

To make this update, we’ll want to make a change to the Tandem option, so first we’ll click the pencil icon next to our question and click Update Options…



Next, from the list of options, all we need to do is click Price adjust… next to the Tandem option.  From here, we’ll get a popover asking us to put in the additional fee or discount.  We’ll enter add $5 and click the checkmark.  Now, all that’s left is to click Save Changes and our price adjustment is complete.



 

Discounts Too

Note that price-adjusting options are great for offering select discounts as well.  For example, let’s say you wanted to set up a discount for senior citizens.  All you need to do is add a new question “Are you a senior citizen?” with options of Yes or No.  From there, just click Price adjust… next to the Yes option and enter 10% off.  It’s that simple.
