Student Accounts

When a student registers for a class, they also gain the ability to have access to a student account in CourseStorm.  This Student Account allows them to update their personal information, change their password, remove a stored credit card and see what classes they have registered for.

Note: Students who have been registered by someone else (such as an Admin User or a Family Member or Friend) will not be able to access their student account until they complete a registration on their own. The student account creation process happens during the registration process, and Admin Users and Friends/Family Members who register students are not able to set passwords for other student profiles, for security and privacy protection purposes. When a student who was previously registered by someone else initiates a new registration themselves, the system will recognize their email address in the Cart and prompt them to create their own password at that time.

To access the Student Account, simply click on the Log in link in the upper right corner of the CourseStorm Site. You will need to enter the email address you used to register for classes and the password you created at the time of registration.

Once you have logged in, you will see your name appear in the upper right corner. This is where you would click to open the student account screen.

The "Account" section is where you can update your basic information such as email address, phone number, and physical address. You can also change your password from here by clicking on the Change link at the bottom.

The "Payment" section is useful If you chose to have your credit card stored during the registration process. This is where you would have the option to remove the stored card from your account.

The "Registrations" section lists all of the classes for which you have previously registered. This will give you a quick reference for class information and registration history.

The "Family & Friends" section will display icons for any family members or friends you have associated with your account.  To view specific info for anyone in your Family & Friends list, just click on their name.
