Instructor Emails

If you work with really great instructors, I'm sure you find that they're always interested in how their classes are doing.  Your staff may be asked all the time: "Do I have any new registrations?", "Have there been any cancellations?", or "Who is on the waiting list?".

Well, with CourseStorm, we've made it simple to answer these questions with instructor email notifications.  To take advantage of this great feature, all you need to do is enter an email address on any instructor's record.  As soon as you do, CourseStorm will send them automatic notifications for all of their classes.


Your instructors will be automatically notified when:

  • ​A new registration arrives for their class

  • A student's registration is cancelled

  • Someone is added to the waiting list

  • A student is transferred away from their class

  • A student is transferred to their class

  • Someone on your staff sends an email to their class roster or waiting list

With these updates, your instructors will find it easy to stay current on all the classes they teach, automatically!

Instructor registration notifications will include student name, contact info (email, phone, mailing address), and responses to custom form questions not marked “private.” Instructors will not receive student payment info or answers to questions marked “private.”

 

Note:

Instructors will be notified of administrator activity relating to their classes, but administrators will not be notified when instructors email students.

If an administrator wishes to view an instructor’s email they can click on classes > the class name > emails.
